Construction Notice – Prepare for Road Work

LA 406 – Roundabout at F. Edward Hebert Boulevard

- Estimated Completion: Early 2027
This project will construct a new roundabout at F. Edward Hebert Boulevard to improve traffic efficiency and safety.
Traffic Impacts:
- Traffic will be maintained at all times.
- Weekday flagging operations (if needed) will occur from 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM.
- No work will occur during major holidays or hurricane evacuations.
- Motorists should expect periodic delays and traffic pattern changes.
LA 23 – Overlay from Russell Drive to Highway 11
- Estimated Cost: $7.1 Million
- Contractor: Boh Bros Construction Co., LLC
- Estimated Start: Late March 2026
- Construction Duration: Approximately 14 months
This project includes roadway overlay improvements to enhance driving conditions and extend pavement life.
Traffic Impacts:
Traffic will be maintained throughout construction. Motorists should anticipate intermittent lane closures and possible delays.
