Presidents Day - Mardi Gras
In observance of Presidents Day and Mardi Gras, all Government Buildings will be CLOSED on
- Monday, February 16
- Tuesday, February 17
There will be NO garbage pickup on Monday, February 16, or Tuesday, February 17.
The Belle Chasse and South Plaquemines compactor sites will also be CLOSED during this time.
Trash bins will be available outside the gate during this period. All Government Buildings will reopen Wednesday, February 18.
Garbage collection will resume on the next scheduled pickup day.
