Radio
There are numerous radio stations on both AM and FM in the New Orleans area that play a variety of music from urban contemporary and hip-hop to country and soft rock. The Greater New Orleans area is home to the best talk radio in the south.
Newspapers
The 85-year-old Plaquemines Gazette is the official journal of Plaquemines Parish. It is subscription-based and publishes on Tuesdays and is sold throughout the parish. The Times-Picayune/The New Orleans Advocate, another regional paper, is available by subscription.
