Operations

Overview

The Operations Department is integral to maintaining and enhancing parish infrastructure to ensure safety, efficiency, and sustainability. Our team handles a wide range of essential tasks, including:

  • Ditch-Digging & Drainage Maintenance: We perform routine ditch digging to ensure proper water flow and prevent flooding, as well as maintaining drainage systems to keep stormwater moving effectively..

  • Waste Management: We coordinate efficient waste collection and disposal services, helping maintain cleanliness and environmental health in the parish.

  • Debris Removal & Cleanup: We work diligently to remove debris from roadways, waterways, and public spaces, maintaining cleanliness and ensuring safe conditions for residents.

  • Grass Mowing & Vegetation Control: Regular mowing and vegetation management help keep roadsides, levees, and public areas well-maintained and free from overgrowth that could obstruct visibility or water flow.

  • Litter Cleanup: Our team is committed to keeping the community clean by regularly removing litter from public areas, roadways, and natural spaces.

In addition to these direct responsibilities, the Operations Department also oversees the coordination and support of other departments, ensuring smooth, integrated functioning across parish services. Through these efforts, we strive to improve the quality of life for all residents by maintaining clean, functional, and safe infrastructure.
