Administration
Plaquemines Parish Government Administration department helps oversee the workforce development services. The administration department provides an integrated system of employment, education, training, support, and financial development services for both job seekers and employers for the betterment of the community.
This department oversees the following departments:
Plaquemines Parish Libraries provide the highest quality to our community the tools needed for information, enrichment, and enjoyment. Our Libraries is a welcome for all, offers not just books, magazines, and movies, but also free high speed internet access to the latest computer technology, and programs that entertain and educate.
The Department of Human Resources is responsible for planning, managing, and directing personnel management for Plaquemines Parish Government.
The Finance Department oversees the financial reporting and accounting operations for the parish.
The Plaquemines Parish Purchasing Department handles all requisitions, purchase orders and material and supplies seal bidding.
Plaquemines Parish Community Action Agency strives to promote economic and social opportunities to the families and individuals by providing access to resources and opportunities that will strengthen and guide families into self-sufficiency.
