About

Our Geographic information System (GIS) Department employs committed personnel who manages computer systems designed to capture, analyze, and map location-based data. 

Plaquemines Parish utilizes GIS to maintain and provide high-quality spatial data to parish departments and the public. 

Services

Our services consist of producing static maps and attributes all of its data available inside many types of user-friendly applications. Those applications include:

• Trainlines
• Waterways
• Sewage lines 
• Public Right-of-Ways 
• Easements
• Ditches for drainage
• Building footprints
• Zoning districts

Static maps are available to the public upon request. Contact the GIS manager at rspears@ppgov.net.
